Set one phone, tablet, or computer between you and start right away. There is no room to create, no sign-in, and no connection to wait for. Draw an edge, pass the device across, and decide on takebacks before the first move.
Follow the Turn
The status bar tells you whether Blue or Red is up. Tap an unused edge between two dots. Tapping an already-drawn edge does not spend the turn, so pass the device across only after the move is complete.
Legal Does Not Mean Best
Most beginner debates come down to three questions: does this edge give away a third side, should you open a long chain, and where should the extra turn go after a claim? The board only accepts unused edges. A move can be legal and still be a bad trade.
Swap Colours After Each Game
Because Blue always opens, the fairest short set gives each person one game as Blue. The move list records every edge, so you can replay the turn when a third side was gifted or a chain was claimed.
